Partial proceeds of this year’s Tour of the Catkills will benefit various community groups and charities as well as Farm Team Cycling, a cycling club for area youth.  Farm Team Cycling is the New York Capital Region’s premier Junior bicycle racing club.  Founded to promote healthy living, confidence, and life skills through competitive cycling, the club has more than 20 young members ranging in age from 8 to 18.  Supported by an enthusiastic parent’s group, Farm Team Cyclists competed at more than 40 events throughout the US in 2010.
